This Mother’s Day, we honor the women who build strong homes and strong communities. Join us as we celebrate mothers everywhere.

Mike first connected with Habitat growing up in Cedar Rapids, volunteering once in high school, and recently deepened his involvement after joining the Board of Directors. Today, he volunteers at the ReStore; helping with organization during its remodel; and on build sites, where he’s taken on projects like siding and setting trusses while learning new skills along the way.

“Volunteering with Habitat lets me make a direct impact in the community I call home—and seeing that impact firsthand really fills my cup.”

If you would like to donate your time and talent by volunteering with Habitat, please contact Kelly Murphy at kelly.murphy@cvhabitat.org or 319.366.4485, ext. 104.

We would like to congratulate Jolene on her retirement!

Jolene has been a long-term fixture at Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity serving as Finance Director; and has been instrumental in the growth and success of this organization.

She has always been a smiling face around the office who has brought a personal touch to every interaction; as well as a vast source of knowledge.

We wish her a long and fulfilling retirement and thank her for her immeasurable contributions to our mission!
