A Message from the Foundation Board Chair

A cancer diagnosis marks the start of an unplanned journey for patients and their loved ones. As a medical oncologist, I frequently see how lives are changed. Since the FCS Foundation was established ten years ago, there have been rapid advancements and exciting new discoveries in cancer treatment. Nevertheless, cancer care often spans months and years.

We can take great pride in knowing that the FCS Foundation provides hope so patients can focus on healing and achieving the best possible outcomes.

At a time when it is needed most, we lift the burden of worry.

I salute my fellow board members and express sincere appreciation to our donors, community partners, volunteers, and staff. With your ongoing commitment and support, we step into our next decade of service to provide hope and healing to those in need.

Thank you,

Volunteering is a Fantastic Way to Serve Others
"Diagnosed and treated at FCS Medical Park for large B-cell lymphoma, I returned to work and a 'normal' life with a new title—Cancer Survivor. To this day I am eternally thankful to Dr. Blanco and the wonderful, dedicated nurses at FCS. They helped me through some of the darkest days of my life.
I wanted to give back and knew where I needed to be. My volunteer commitment at the FCS Medical Park office began in February 2017. The experience has been nothing short of amazing. I have enjoyed working with the nurses, some of whom ministered to me when I was a patient. I have gained so much satisfaction and gratification engaging with the patients. I hope that my being there has helped. I certainly get more out of it than I put in, that is for sure!"
