At Smart Start of Mecklenburg County, we recognize that early childhood education is critical for a child's development. We understand that the first few years of life are crucial for learning, and a child's first teachers are their parents and caregivers. That's why we're investing in programs to reach the Spanish-speaking population.

We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their background or the language spoken at home. By providing resources and support to Spanish-speaking families, we hope to ensure that all children in our community have a strong foundation for learning and growth.

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, which occurs annually from September 15th to October 15th, we are privileged to share some of our endeavors to reach the American Latino community with young children.
