ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT

Kyle Henry

GE Aerospace

Kyle is an alum of FRC839, Rosie Robotics from Agawam, MA. He graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has spent the majority of his career working on engine systems engineering at GE. He is a co-chair of the North Shore District Event and has led this competition since it was first hosted in Reading, MA, in 2015. He also led the 2018 District Championship Event Planning Committee, where he was awarded Volunteer of the Year for his many years of volunteer service. A former team mentor, his hours of dedication to making our program better have inspired countless students and mentors throughout New England. Kyle and his family contributed funding, matched by GE Aerospace, for the district to purchase accessibility devices for FRC events this year, specifically wheelchair ramps for the driver stations on competition fields. This commitment to inclusion brings STEM education to all! Thank you for all you do as a leader in NE FIRST, Kyle!
