Celebrating 12 Years of Transplant House

Transplant House is excited to celebrate 12 years of providing safe, affordable housing for transplant patients and their caregivers! Since opening our doors, we have welcomed more than 2,000 families and provided over 82,000 nights of affordable lodging.

Thank you for shaping Transplant House into the welcoming home-away-from-home it is today. We could not have hit this milestone without your support–whether through financial donations, volunteering, sharing our mission with others, or engaging with us on social media. Every act of generosity helps provide comfort and hope for transplant patients and caregivers during one of the most challenging times of their lives.

Save the Date

Garden Party

October 8th from 5-8 pm

Join us out on the lawn for an evening of fun and fellowship in support of our continued care for patients and caregivers navigating a challenging medical journey.

TV personality Jan Jones will return once again to conduct a special guest interview during the event. Enjoy catering by Sophie Events, live music from Blue Lunch, the opportunity to create and take home your own bouquet of flowers, and a selection of wine, beer, and specialty spirit-free beverages.

Tickets are now available! If you're looking to make an even greater impact, consider becoming an event sponsor. Sponsorship opportunities, some exclusive, offer meaningful recognition and help underwrite various aspects of the event while supporting Transplant House's mission.

If you are unable to attend but would still like to donate, please visit this link. Donations directly fund community programming, amenities, and other essential resources for our guests.

We hope to see you there!

Happenings Around the House

We surpassed our Day of Giving $20,000 fundraising goal!

Whether you donated, shared our social media posts, or told others about our mission, we are truly grateful.

Replacing our Duplex roof protects the space where organ transplant patients and caregivers gather for meals, support programs, and meaningful connection. It is a cornerstone of our community that gives guests reassurance that they do not have to face the transplant journey alone.

From all of us at Transplant House of Cleveland, thank you for your compassion and commitment to our mission and to the families we serve. Your support makes a world of difference for families traveling to Cleveland for lifesaving care.

Welcome, Mar'Shay!

Meet our newest staff member, Mar’Shay Ferguson! She joined Transplant House earlier this month as our Operations Assistant. She is committed to creating positive experiences for the communities and organizations she serves. We are excited to have her on our team!

Mar’Shay earned a business degree with a concentration in Human Resources Management.

Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new destinations and trying new recipes. Welcome, Mar'Shay!

Apartment Sponsorships

Steven (lung recipient) and Kathy Blevins outside of their son and daughter-in-law's sponsored apartment.

Thank you, Deborah and Logan Blevins, for becoming our newest apartment sponsors! Every time guests walk past your plaque, they are reminded of your generosity.

Apartment sponsorships provide recognition through a plaque outside one of our apartments, while making it possible for us to continue to offer these spaces at affordable rates. For transplant patients and their families traveling to an unfamiliar city, our apartments provide a slice of comfort, familiarity, and normalcy.

Because of supporters like Deborah and Logan, guests have more than a place to stay– they have a private space where they can rest, recharge, and focus on what matters most: health and healing.

So far in 2026, Your Support Has Made Possible...

Are you a current or previous guest? We'd love to tell your story! Share your story here.

If you are not already a registered organ donor, please consider becoming one today.
