Cross Country Ski Clinic

Ames Parks and Recreation is offering a FREE Cross Country Ski Clinic on Saturday, Jan. 13. The clinic features an indoor and outdoor session that is open to all ages and abilities. The indoor session will take place at the Homewood Clubhouse from 1-2 p.m. The outdoor session will take place at Carr Park from 2:15-3:15 p.m. if optimal snow permits. If not, the outdoor session will take place the first ski-able Saturday after the clinic.

Jesus Christ Superstar

See Jesus Christ Superstar at Stephens Auditorium Jan. 30. Celebrating its 50th anniversary, Jesus Christ Superstar, a new mesmerizing production of the iconic musical phenomenon, returns to the stage. It was originally staged by London’s Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre and helmed by the acclaimed director Timothy Sheader.
