Dear Lord,

As colder winds whisper of winter's approach, we as you to warm our hearts with the fire of Your Holy Spirit, that in the chill we may draw closer to Christ, the Light that never fades.

Bless the earth with Your providence, gladdening it even in frost, and fill us with joyful hope as we await the Savior's birth. Through the intercession of Mary, Star of the North, keep us steadfast in faith amid the gathering cold.

Amen.
