Good Morrow!
The village of Willingtown has returned to Casa de Fruta for its 2012 season, bringing with it the pageantry, revelry, and romance of the most popular time period in history! The Northern California Renaissance Faire, presented by Play Faire Productions, brings to life a colorful, bustling Elizabethan village, complete with a championship joust, traditional English fare and ales, many stages of non-stop entertainment, costumed characters, and a one of a kind marketplace full of unique hand crafted wares and endless activities including our Celtic Rock Concert Series every Saturday at the end of the day. We are excited to introduce two new environments this year; The Enchanted Garden for children of all ages and The Dockside Alley for mature revelers. The Northern California Renaissance Faire offers the most entertainment value for your money, for an entire day or weekend of fun.
We invite you to rediscover your imagination and step into our world of fantasy. Take a peek at what awaits you, view our commercial. Huzzah!

~ Entertainment Update ~
The Magnificent Humble Boys Presenting the world's greatest Russian circus direct from a sold out season in Siberia. Hundreds of dancing bears, monkeys, acrobatics and fire breathing otters. Well, that is, unless they don't all get past immigration. Then two performers will have to do the whole circus for you out of a trunk. The show even made Ivan the Terrible feel "not-so-bad." Kids and adults alike will revel in this farcical spectacle. Sound & Fury Better than Shakespeare, it's "Fakespeare!" The comic trio of Sound & Fury™ return to Willingtown after several award-winning world-tours, to bring you part two of their 'classic' bawdy Greek parody-theatrical saga, "Testaclese Descending" Richard, Patrick and Ryan's fast-paced one-liners will have you coming back to watch the play multiple times, just to catch all the wit! Performing for one more weekend in the adults only Dockside Alley. No Parchment Needed This troupe of traveling actors have arrived all set to perform, but they have forgotten one important ingredient - their scripts! They'll come to the audience for suggestions to help drive their short form improv into hilarity. All content is based on audience suggestions, so no two shows will ever be the same! See all the acts that will be appearing at our faire on The Stages page of our website. Download the Stage Schedule for September 29th & 30th |
