The ancient oaks that are in the community all have a story to tell.

Join the Main Branch of the Iberia Parish Library in celebrating National Bike Month with a leisurely bike ride through New Iberia as you learn more about the history of the oaks from horticulturist Jim Foret.

Helmets are required for the bike hike and children must be accompanied by an adult. The program will be held from 8 - 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 20 beginning at the Main Library located at 445 E. Main St. in New Iberia. Date is subject to change dependent upon weather conditions.
