Snow doesn’t stand a chance when our Clean Team is on the job. They worked through the recent storm to keep sidewalks safe and accessible, clearing corners, crosswalks, bus stops, and fire hydrants, and then cleared Citibins and other snow-covered areas throughout the district in the days after. They’re still hard at work today, removing snow and ice, making it easier for the NYC Department of Sanitation to collect the litter and public garbage our team sweeps up and bags. Their dedication helps everyone get around safely and keeps the neighborhood clean and safe. Thank you to the business who cleared their sidewalks and property owners who cleared the crosswalks and sidewalks near their buildings—this truly is a community effort.
