CEO Corner – February 2025
As we step into February, Gulf Coast Social Services has a lot going on across the state! This month, we’re continuing to celebrate the incredible work of our team, hearing & sharing powerful stories from our clients, and spotlighting some of our outstanding staff members who go above and beyond every day.
During the month of February, we'll celebrate National Caregivers Day on February 21st, a time to recognize our dedicated Direct Service Workers who provide compassionate care and support to those in need. Their unwavering commitment makes a profound difference in the lives of our clients, and we are grateful for their service.
February is also Black History Month, an opportunity to honor the achievements, resilience, and contributions of Black Americans throughout history. At GCSS, we remain committed to fostering a culture of inclusion, respect, and appreciation for the diverse communities we serve.
And of course, in Louisiana, February wouldn’t be complete without Mardi Gras! As parades roll and celebrations fill the streets, we hope our staff and clients will enjoy the festivities safely and joyfully.
