YOUR DONATIONS ARE A BLESSING!

-Volunteers provided 92 meals in June

-94 people celebrated the end of the school year at Kobe Japanese Steak House enjoying hibachi and delicious food and fellowship.

-21 families received a Father’s Day meal from Sonny’s BBQ and bags filled with decorative tableware, gifts, and a gas gift card.

-Donations helped celebrate 3 June birthdays and we have 2 upcoming July birthdays.

-You blessed a high school grad with everything he needs to live in the UCF dorms.

-A family of 9 received a brand new refrigerator.

-The Lightning Grant continues to allow us to provide education, extracurricular and experiences to foster/adoptive families. This includes paying for summer camps, and music & art lessons.

-4 scholarship winners attended Horsepower for Kids camp.

-We sent foster/adoptive children to FloridaRama, Sea World, Busch Gardens, Tampa Zoo, SkyZone Splash Harbor, The Florida Aquarium, Chick-Fil-A, and to the movies.

-Recycled Panera and end of day food fed more than 22 families this month and last.

-Your generosity helped keep a family with 4 siblings together, providing bathing suits, amazon wishes, grocery and gas gift cards and rent money.

-You provided gift cards, groceries and hygiene items to 16 aged out youth and groceries to a few larger foster families.

-We continue to collaborate with Breast Cancer Foundation, Clothes to Kids, and Woven Anew to ensure our clothing donations are put to good use.

-Thanks to our partnership with Tickets for Kids we sent multiple foster/adoptive families to Rays and Rowdies games this month. They even got to sit in the Home Plate Box area with unlimited food and drink!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!

Are you looking for the opportunity to volunteer your time with a local non profit??

☀️Summer is a great time for students to earn volunteer hours. We provide 4 hours per meal for National Honor Society, IB CAS and Florida Bright Future. Reach out for more information or go to www.FeedingTheFostersinc.com/volunteer

☀️Children who are out of school are not receiving free breakfast and lunch so please consider providing meals, groceries and snacks to a family this summer.

☀️We have a few families providing respite and welcoming children into their families for a few weeks this summer. We also have a few children requiring procedures or surgery. These families would appreciate a meal. Reach out to see who would benefit best from your blessings.

At Feeding the Fosters, our mission is to support foster/adoptive families and aged out youth in the local Tampa Bay Area with homemade and store bought meals, holiday meals and activities, cultural celebrations and experiences to promote the tradition of family mealtime and making lasting memories.
