Special Hours for our Special Visitors
BCM will be open for these special Friday evening and Monday hours during the upcoming holiday weeks to make sure everyone can get in to see the Toy Trains, Wahoo's Winter Wonderland, Dickens' Victorian Village and all of our Holiday Traditions @ BCM displays.

2019 Two-Headed Calf Awards
Nominations Open Through January 7
Do you know someone whose efforts have made a significant impact on your community? Nominate them for the 2019 Behringer-Crawford Museum Two-Headed Calf Awards! Now in their ninth year, the awards honor extraordinary achievement in the fields of education, history and community service. The deadline for nominations is January 7, 2019, and the winners will honored at a banquet on Thursday, March 21, 2019 in Northern Kentucky University's Votruba Student Union Ballroom. Reservations for the banquet can be made by contacting the museum at 859-491-4003.

A Holiday Homeschool Field Trip
An 1880s Christmas in Covington
Wednesday, December 19, 10:30-11:30 a.m.
Bring your homeschool students to BCM to l earn about Christmas in Covington and Cincinnati in the 1880s, using the art of Mary Bruce Sharon as a catalyst for discussion. Create a period ornament to take home for your own Christmas tree! Recommended for homeschool students in second through fifth grades. Cost is $8 per student (includes craft fee) and $5 for adults. Preregister by December 15 at 859-491-4003.

Christmas Traditions of NKY
Thursday, December 20, 12-1:30 p.m.
The French bake yule log confections for Christmas and the Swedes build a goat out of straw, but what are our local Christmas traditions? Join Wynita Worley, Outreach Services Coordinator for Kenton County Public Library, as we talk about Christmas traditions, history and our favorite ways to celebrate locally. Bring your lunch; beverages and desserts are on us. $3 for BCM members; $10 for future members. Stories and Santa on Sunday
Polar Express & Wiley Wahoo
Sunday, December 23, 2-4 p.m.
Each Sunday through Christmas, local children’s librarians will read the children's books "The Polar Express” and “The Holiday Adventures of Wiley Wahoo & Me!” Children can create a Christmas craft and enjoy hot chocolate and cookies, then whisper their Christmas wishes in Santa's ear. Holiday finery or comfy PJs are encouraged. Free for BCM members; included with museum admission for future members. Reservations required: call 859-491-4003 or email education@bcmuseum.org .

City Days@BCM
Residents of several local communities and groups are invited to visit Holiday Traditions@BCM for free or reduced rates, courtesy of their Parks & Recreation departments and other generous sponsors. Please bring proof of residency or membership to your designated day or evening.
