A friendly reminder to join Marina Coast Water District at Earth Day Marina on Saturday, April 18 from 10 AM - 2 PM. MCWD staff will be on hand at our Water Conservation booth to answer questions and explain how to decrease your water bill by conserving water.

Learn about our rebates and incentives and how to upgrade your yard with efficient irrigation, or schedule a free water-saving checkup in your home.

Congratulations to Sustainable Marina for 20 years of honoring Earth Day with habitat restoration and protection!

You are invited to join Marina Coast Water District at Monterey Peninsula College for their annual Earth Day Event on Wednesday, April 22, from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Caroline Page Garden (in front of the library).

MCWD staff will host our water conservation booth at this event featuring local organizations providing sustainability tips, giveaways, and educational activities. For more info on the event contact Julie Osborne, Student Activities Coordinator, Monterey Peninsula College at (831) 646-4192.

Please join MCWD Water Conservation Specialist Paul Lord at the CSUMB Earth Day celebration on Thursday, April 23, from 11:30 PM to 1:30 PM outside of the Otter Student Union.

Earth Day is a great opportunity to focus on learning to conserve water with tips on repairing leaks, running only full dishwashers and washing machines, installing low-flow fixtures, and shortening showers to under 5 minutes. Paul will also answer questions about reducing outdoor irrigation, using native landscaping, and preventing pollution by keeping harmful materials out of your drains.
