Saratoga Citizen & Business Person of the Year Awards Criteria
A celebration of individuals who make Saratoga a stronger community.
Who Is Eligible?
Any Saratoga resident or business leader who has made an outstanding contribution to the Saratoga community through:
• Individual volunteer service
• Business leadership
• Civic or community organizations
Selection Criteria
Nominees should demonstrate:
• Community volunteerism and dedication
• Leadership that promotes a positive image of Saratoga
• Meaningful contributions to the community
Additional Eligibility Requirements
• Nominee may not be a member of the nominating committee.
• Nominee may not be a previous recipient of the same award.
• Citizen of the Year nominees must be Saratoga residents.
• Business Person of the Year nominees must own or operate a business located in Saratoga for at least two years.

Honors an individual who has:
- Made a significant impact during the past year
- Demonstrated outstanding service to Saratoga over multiple years

Demonstrates vision, creativity, and leadership within their industry.

Supports Saratoga through volunteerism, philanthropy, partnerships, or civic involvement.
The award recognizes a Saratoga business leader who has demonstrated excellence in both business and community leadership.
