We are proud to announce Kim Summers has been named Chief Executive Officer of @the Grounds and Placer Valley Tourism

Longtime marketing and tourism senior executive Kim Summers has been named Chief Executive Officer of Placer Valley Tourism and @the Grounds, organizations that attract more than 150,000 people and generate $21 million to the economy every year in Placer Valley.

Summers has been with Placer Valley Tourism since 2008, hired as the hospitality manager and later promoted to marketing director of the organization that brings hundreds of events annually – from anime conferences, and gem shows to softball and volleyball tournaments – to Placer Valley. Read more

October 22, Monster Trucks The A-All Mini Storage Malicious Monster Truck Bash invades Roseville’s All American Speedway on October 22 for two shows of high-flying horsepower and excitement! Bring your littlest ghouls and goblins for the on-track autograph session, and monster truck rides 60 minutes before each show. See Rock Star, California Kid, Identity Theft, Spitfire, Power House, and the fire-breathing car-crushing dinosaur Megasaurus in action! The matinee show begins at 2:00 PM, and the evening show is at 7:00 PM.

October 8-9 NCVA Boys Power League With the qualifiers done last month now is the time for the teams to shine in the first game of the Boy's Power League. These athletes will show no shortage of skill and hard work. Come cheer your favorite team on to victory. The season runs through December.

October 29, California Cosmic Bash 1,000 wrestlers from 17 states aged Kindergarten through 12th Grade will compete in folkstyle wrestling inside the Roebbelen Center. This event is expected to be sold out. All Brackets and streaming are held on Arena.Flowrestling.org.
