2021 Wisconsin County Profiles released
The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development has released new County Workforce Profiles that provide snapshots of the labor market for every Wisconsin county. Each profile includes analysis of the current and projected population dynamics, the effect on the labor force, county industries and employers, occupational patterns within industries, and average wages.

After a two-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Old Glory Honor Flight of Northeast Wisconsin announced today its Pulling for Honor fundraising competition will be held August 20, 2022, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Appleton International Airport. Read more>>

Appleton Memorial Day Parade deadline April 1
The 2022 Appleton Memorial Day Parade is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on Monday, May 30. Organizations interested in participating must complete and submit an official application before Friday, April 1, 2022. Read more>>

Reminder: Dream Up! and Partner Up! state child care grant applications close April 4
Project Growth Dream Up! and Partner Up! grant program application periods close on Monday, April 4 at 5 p.m. CST. If you are planning to apply, submit your applications soon!
Project Growth is a grant initiative designed to address the challenges facing Wisconsin’s child care system. The unique grants work to sustain programs that support families, invest in quality care so families can return to work, and improve employer recruitment and retention.
The Dream Up! grants will offer $8.1 million to directly support 30 communities and child care programs around the state, over the next two years. The Partner Up! grant program will provide $10 million in funding to support partnerships between businesses who purchase slots at existing regulated child care providers.

LaForce announced that Eric Hansen is their new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective immediately. This management change comes after the retirement of long-time CFO, Jill Pruski.

McMahon, a full-service, professional engineering and architectural firm, has hired David Lintz as a senior architect as well as Ethan Lang and Maija Seppanen as water and wastewater engineers.

McMahon announced that retired senior vice president Carl Sutter, P.E., D.WRE, F.ASCE was recently named a board certified diplomate, Water Resources Engineer (D.WRE) of the American Academy of Water Resources Engineers (AAWRE).
