Celebrate
Furever Valentine's
with C.A.R.E.4Paws
Can you feel it? Love is PAWSITIVELY in the air!

First off, a heartfelt thank you for your generosity in 2020. With your support, we assisted more than 20,000 pet owners—three times the number of families helped in 2019.

The need is just as great in 2021, and we continue to work directly in the community, providing our critical services and ensuring that pets stay happy, healthy and homebound.

Want to help?

We invite you to celebrate Furever Valentine's with us, at home or wherever you are. Your donation will support animals and pet owners in need in several ways. For example:

  • $50 pays for a health exam and vaccines for one dog or cat.

  • $125 sponsors one spay/neuter or dental procedure for one pet.

  • $250 helps a pet enrolled in the Safe Haven domestic violence assistance program.

  • $500 provides food for at least 25 dogs or cats for one month.

  • $1,000 pays for spays/neuters and veterinary care for up to 20 pets.

  • $2,500 sponsors spays/neuters and medical care for up to 50 animals.

  • $5,000 helps alter and provide medical care for up to 100 pets.

Your gift is a huge investment in preventing suffering and saving lives. Thank you so much for your kindness.

Happy Furever Valentine's from all of us with C.A.R.E.4Paws!

On a roll to help a community in need
The demand for our Mobile Pet Wellness services is greater than ever. In 2020, we performed 2,005 spays/neuters and provided medical care to 1,823 dogs and cats—compared to 1,300 spays/neuters and 1,170 pets assisted with veterinary care in 2019. We hosted 190 clinic days during 2020, compared to 140 in 2019 and 120 in 2018. The provision of 65 percent more clinic services reflects the enormous need created by the pandemic. Together, we make sure pets stay happy, healthy and in their homes.

Mobile pet meals
Our Companion Pet Assistance program continues to provide at least four tons of pet food weekly to pet owners in need. We distribute pet food in our mobile clinic four to five days per week and during events with agencies such as the Foodbank and People Helping People. We deliver food to homebound pet owners and also have several Pet Resource Centers countywide. It's all about keeping pets and people together!
A gift that keeps giving
We LOVE the pet portraits that the youth at United Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Barbara County in Lompoc make for a donation as part of our Paws Up For Pets program. And they make a great Valentine's gift for yourself or someone you love. Portraits are painted on 11x14 canvasses from a photo you send us along with a $50 donation.
