We'll explore three powerful GIS-based tools -- the Data Explorer, the Traffic Tool, and the Pesticide Mapping Tool -- designed to help you navigate complex environmental health data.

Our Data Explorer allows you to visualize and interpret vital public health and environmental data, on topics such as air quality, maternal and infant health, and other chronic diseases.


With the Data Explorer, create custom maps, charts, and graphs to analyze trends and make comparisons of different regions.

Our Traffic Tool offers insights into traffic patterns.


With the tool, you can quantify and visualize traffic volumes for any address in California, helping inform community-level interventions.

Our Pesticide Mapping Tool (PMT) allows you to easily access and visualize agricultural pesticide use data across the state.


Use the tool to see how agricultural pesticide use in California varies by location and over time, including the top 10 pesticides used in an area.


The tool is available in both English and Spanish, and we also have more recent years of data available upon request.

With all of these tools, you can quickly access state and local-level data.
