Meet Marrisa, Habitat's New Volunteer Coordinator:
Hello, my name is Marrisa Robertson, and I am the new Volunteer Coordinator for Habitat for Humanity. I moved to the Tri-Cities back in the fall of 2016 with my sister, Britt, and our pup, Jethro. I grew up in South Jersey about 20 mins from Philly and although there are many things I miss there; I really enjoy the many outdoor adventures I can do here. I really enjoy hiking and paddleboarding or doing anything that can bring my dog along with me!
Before joining the Habitat team, I was working as an EMT for a local private company for a couple of years and while I enjoyed the experience, I wanted to do more to enrich the community. I am excited to have this opportunity and do all that I can in this position.
-Marrisa

Cedar Ave Lot #7 – We are nearing the finish line for 212 S Cedar. Exterior paint will be applied this week, along with some finish trim on the inside. We will spend next week adding the finishing touches and will dedicate it on March 19th.
Alvina St Lot #7 – The exterior of this home is complete and ready for us to start the inside. Flooring is next, followed by doors, trim, and cabinets. We plan to turn this home over to its new homeowner on April 23rd.
Alvina St Lot #6 – Tri-Tech will finish the exterior of this home in the next week. HVAC, plumbing, and electrical have been installed in the walls, paving the way for us to install insulation. We will keep chipping away at this home which is scheduled for completion in late May or early June.
Alvina St Lot #5 – The Tri-Tech Electrical class joined the Construction class for a few days in February, framing the house together in one week! They completed the roof last week and will start on windows and siding this coming week.
Alvina St Lot #4 – Currently a staging area for the work at 1418, we expect that Tri-Tech will start framing this home before the end of March.
Alvina St Lots #2 & 3 – Permits have been drawn and we will start foundations soon.
