EVENT RECAP
California Statehood Day Celebration

We had such a blast celebrating 175 years of California Statehood at our free community event on Saturday, September 6!

It was a fun-filled day at the Museum with rare historic artifacts on display—including both the English and Spanish versions of the original 1849 California Constitution—plus music, dance, crafts, a film screening, and more. Thank you to everyone who joined us for an incredible day of festivities!

Missed the celebration? You can still see a replica of the 1849 California Constitution on display until Sunday Oct. 5, 2025—along with original, one-of-a-kind documents and artifacts from California’s early statehood.
