Athirst is my soul for the living God

Almighty and ever living God, you know me and you look deep into my soul. May you always find that my soul is also searching for you, the living fountain. May I never allow worldly and earthly things possess my soul. But may you “send forth your light and your fidelity to lead me on and bring me to your holy mountain, to your dwelling – place” where I will joyfully praise your name with all your children. For you are God whom my soul longs and yearns for, are worthy of all our praises, and you live forever and ever. Amen.
