Age: 46 years old
Location: Brooklyn, NY, and Trumbull, CT
Pain warrior role: Advocate since 2019
Health conditions: Chronic intractable migraine, degenerative disc disease, small fiber neuropathy, and restless legs syndrome.
Tip for pain warriors: "Join a chronic pain support group. Participate in advocacy projects for your condition. And specifically for migraineurs, noise-canceling headphones are a must!”
Fun fact: "I love to hike. My favorite adventures kicking up dust have been in the Ural Mountains in Russia, the Pamir Mountains in Tajikistan, and the Tian Shan Mountains in Kyrgyzstan.”

Pain Connection Live conference calls (open to all) are held weekly. This month's theme is "The Stages of Grief for Chronic Pain."

  • Thursday, June 3 from 1:30 to 3 pm ET
  • Thursday, June 10 from 7 to 8:30 pm ET
  • Thursday, June 17 from 3 to 4:30 pm ET
  • Thursday, June 24 from 2:30 to 4 pm ET
  • Saturday, June 26 from 11 am to noon ET
Pain Connection also offers state-based support groups over Zoom. States include Arizona, Florida, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, North and South Carolina, Ohio, and Oregon.

Pain Connection is also providing three specialized support groups over Zoom each month for caregivers/care partners, LGBTQ+ individuals, and veterans.
