Wisdom From The Herd

undefined

We are visiting our friend Judy in Lindsborg, Kansas - a charming Swedish town. Judy’s daughter sent these towelettes for us to use as a special touch of celebration and welcome (“Välkommen” in Swedish).

Seeing those little towels reminded me that Easter is almost upon us. It also got me thinking about the familiar symbol of the Easter Bunny. Curious, I asked Siri: "Why rabbits as an Easter symbol?" The answer: because of the rabbit’s high proliferation rate - making it a symbol of new life.

Huh! Who knew?

It made me think about the ways we can spread something meaningful in our own daily lives. In the midst of ordinary moments, we can choose to do something kind or welcoming—our own version of Välkommen. And as we do, others often follow.

• Gain clarity, insight, and peace

• Release the emotional charge of past experiences

• Increase awareness and reconnect with your body’s wisdom

Equusology

Winter is cold, too cold for showing and trail rides. This is the perfect time to deepen your relationship with your horse, and get ready for next season.

Equusology answers the questions horse people often ask:

• What does my horse think of me?

• How does my horse process the world?

• How do I influence my horse, and how can we understand each other better?

• How can I strengthen our bond?

If you want to invest in something meaningful this winter—and prepare for spring, summer, or fall riding—Equusology is the place to start.

Created by Melisa Pearce of Touched by a Horse and Carolyn Fitzpatrick, both accomplished Gestaltists and horsewomen.

• 4‑week class on Zoom

Private / Group Sessions

Sessions are held with horses at the barn weather permitting.

Indoor or Zoom sessions available during frigid winter temperatures.

ENERGY

written by Dawn Mathis

What if we had more energy? What would we do with it?

In our world, at this moment in time, we often witness energy being misused. Sometimes we misuse it ourselves. We may focus on the “bad” things happening around us, or worry about the outcome of an election. We might spend our energy in disagreement or discord with people we know. Too often, we focus on what we don’t want.

But we can shift. We can take back our power - our energy. We can choose to focus on the good, to seek harmony, and to notice everyday kindness and beauty. We can place our energy - and our inspired action - into what we truly want to see more of in the world.

Today, I will make the decision to think and move in the light.
