We Still Need Hydration Station Volunteers

There are spots left and we need your help! Use the QR code above to register to volunteer at the First Serve sponsored Hydration Stations during the Akron Marathon Race on September 27. We need twenty-five more volunteers to run two stations this year. Contact Sue Wimer for more information.

Findley Food Bag Packers- Twice a month on a Wednesday evening, First Serve Volunteers are needed to pack over 500 weekend bags of food for each of the students at Findley CLC. Please click here to see the upcoming packing dates and to sign up to help!

Food Pantry: Help students select food to take home. Restock pantry as needed.

Assist Families: Assist families in selecting food and clothing. Most of these families are new to the country and do not speak English. We work with United Way to assist families with a variety of needs.

Clothing Room: Assist in clothing room by organizing clothing room, sorting hangers and donations, restocking donations, and assisting students or families that come into the clothing room.

Volunteers are needed to sort and pick up donated children's clothing from The Big Red Wagon Sale on Monday. We will gather as many items as we are able to, so please come and ask for Jane Bechtel when you arrive at the front door.

Thursday, September 25

Forest Hill CLC

850 Damon St. Akron

Volunteers will help sort donated clothing collected from the Red Wagon Sale for parents and children to shop for their "new" clothing.
