We appreciate your generous support and unwavering commitment to our community. As the beautiful colours of fall envelop us, we wish you peace and inspiration during this season. We’re excited to announce the completion of Marigold Hospice Residence, a place dedicated to comfort and care.

We look forward to sharing this meaningful journey with you and can’t wait to keep you updated on all the incredible work ahead.

Construction is Complete

We are excited to announce that after 16 months of dedicated work, our construction phase is complete. We are immensely grateful to our partners, J.J. McGuire and ROA Studio, whose commitment ensured we remained on time and within budget.

Our Board Members and our Project Manager, played an integral role throughout this journey, collaborating at every turn. It fills us with pride to hear our partners describe this as one of the smoothest projects they have ever worked on.

As we finalize testing of our systems and furnish the Hospice, our clinical partner, VON, has begun to hire and orient staff. We look forward to welcoming our first resident later this fall, marking a significant milestone for our community.

Meet Our Hospice Manager

We are pleased to announce that VON has hired Kim Rogers as our Nurse Manager. Kim brings a wealth of experience in palliative care to Marigold Hospice, having served as the Clinical Resource Nurse/Patient Navigator at Ross Memorial Hospital. A Registered Nurse with certifications like CHPCN(C) and Advanced Care Planning Champion, she specializes in developing educational programs for clinical staff.



Kim excels in collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and possesses strong teaching and mentoring skills. Her exceptional interpersonal abilities enhance her work with patients and families in various care settings.

St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church Donates $75,000

We want to thank St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church for their extraordinary $75,000 donation to Marigold Hospice Care, made possible through the sale of their church property. This generous gift honours the church's enduring legacy of compassion and service.

Your support of the community will help us provide comfort, care and dignity to individuals and families during life's final journey.

Florence Nightingale and Beehive Rebekah Lodge Donated $15,000

Pizza Party at Marigold Hospice Care

In August, we celebrated our incredible construction crew with a pizza lunch to thank them for their hard work in bringing our hospice to life. Their dedication, even in challenging weather, is transforming our vision into a space of peace and compassion for the community.
