P2 Week is an opportunity for individuals and businesses to focus on how to reduce pollution to our land, water, and air, as well as reducing the use of harmful chemicals--all with the ultimate objective of providing safer and healthier places to live and work.

What is P2?

This video from EPA is a quick explanation of pollution prevention (P2), also known as source reduction. It's any practice that reduces, eliminates, or prevents pollution at its source prior to recycling, treatment or disposal.

Our Numbers

These are the savings realized by entities who have participated in PPI’s various programs and have implemented projects as a result. Results are based on numbers obtained from the company, usually during technical assistance or during follow-up activities with the company, once they have had a chance to implement the project.
