Celebrate Pi Day & St. Patrick's Day, Live Winery Music & Firepits, and March Farm Fun at Terhune Orchards
Spring is almost here! Days are growing longer, the weather is (slowly) warming up, and the solstice is only a week away.
Celebrate the imminent arrival of spring with farm fun all week long: visit the barnyard playground and animals, and enjoy live local music and firepits at the winery this weekend.
Happy Pi Day - today Tuesday March 14. At the Terhune Orchards farm store, we have all varieties of delicious pies -- both sweet and savory -- for you to celebrate this special day. Pick up one of our famous fruit pies or make a pie-themed dinner with locally made Griggstown shepherd's or pot pie.
And this Friday is St. Patrick's Day! Get into the Irish spirit with homemade Irish soda bread and special shamrock cookies.
Bring spring home with beautiful potted daffodils and freesias.
Looking for a fun outing this weekend?
Our winery is open every Saturday and Sunday. Get cozy in our toasty wine barn or warm up next to the firepits. We have a great line-up of local music every weekend!
Seating is available indoors amongst the wine tanks in our cozy wine barn and outdoors with firepits. Enjoy hot mulled wine, tasting flights of Terhune favorite wines, and wine by the glass.

All ages can have fun with s’mores and hot cocoa kits. Light bites of cheese plates and chips & salsa baskets are available at the winery.
Perfect to enjoy with a glass of wine by the fire.

Styles range from Jazz and Blues to Folk and Rock.
Music is from 1pm-4pm. View music schedule here.

Enjoy fun on the farm in winter! Read & Explore is a fun and educational program that combines hands-on activities with listening to a story. This hands-on educational program is a great cure for cabin fever and a way to stay connected to the farm during the winter months.

We will get ready to wake up from winter and prepare to start gardening. As St. Patrick’s Day is the traditional day to plant peas and spinach and get the garden ready, we will start our gardens too! Our reading is a selection from “Frog and Toad Are Friends.” Each child will plant seeds to take home.

$12 per participating child and includes the activity.
