This Sunday, June 1st marks the beginning of Pride Month, a time to celebrate the resilience, talent, and contributions of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. It’s a powerful opportunity for both the community and allies to come together in unity and celebration.

Blue Door is thrilled to be joining many exciting community events this June.

At Blue Door, embracing diversity is more than a value, it’s the foundation of how we serve. We know that to truly support our community, our services must be inclusive and accessible to everyone in need, which is why we created INNclusion.

The first safe housing in York Region for 2SLGBTQ+ youth who are experiencing homelessness often because of identity-based abuse and discrimination. It provides stability, support, and connection.

Donate to the Orange Door Project Campaign at Home Depot locations in Newmarket, Aurora, and Bradford from May 27th to June 22nd.

Walk with Blue Door at the Durham Pride Parade June 7th, York Region Pride Parade on June 21st , and the Toronto Pride Parade June 29th, 2025.

Join us for Blue Door's Annual General Meeting!

The Annual General Meeting is a time for Blue Door staff, Board of Directors, and community members to gather and reflect on Blue Door's accomplishments over the last year and discuss how to continue to support individuals experiencing homelessness.

Join us on June 10th, 2025, at 212 Earl Stewart Drive, Units 1 and 2, Aurora, ON, for socializing and food from 4:30 to 5:00 PM, followed by the Annual General Meeting from 5:00 to 5:30 PM.

Please note that the Annual General Meeting is a rain or shine event. Please dress accordingly to the weather.
