Robert Burns is also known as Rabbie Burns, Scotland's favourite son, the Ploughman Poet, Bard of Ayrshire and also as the Bard. He lived from January 25th, 1759 to July 21st, 1796. Burns Nights or Burns Suppers are held the world over, wherever there are folks of Scottish heritage. These celebrations can be formal or informal, but Scotch Whiskey and "The Address to the Haggis" are staples. McNamara's is proud to celebrate the first annual Burns Night with drink specials on all Scotch. We will also feature the music of Scottish fiddle player, Laura McGhee as well as Irishman Colm Kirwan and the talented Steve Peavy on Mandolin . We hope to see you at the pub.
