Oh, Lord my God, I hear the Gospel today where Jesus tells His disciples, before He leaves to return to the Father, that He gives them peace. Not as the world gives peace, a peace that will allow me to bear the troubles and tribulations that the world is bound to have due to sin. Sins of greed, power, avarice and lust. Once again Jesus uses the phrase he used so often, "do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid" because He will come back to us. He will come and give me the grace to not allow the power of evil to overpower me. Give me Your grace this day. Amen.
