UAPB Veterans Day 2025 Program Highlights

A spirit of gratitude filled the STEM Conference Center at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, as students, faculty, staff and community members gathered to honor America’s heroes. The annual Veterans Day Celebration was not only a tribute to those who have served but also a stirring reminder of the courage and sacrifice that define them.

Michael Bumpers, Director of Veteran Services and Student Disabilities at UAPB, presided over the ceremony.

“The purpose of today’s program is simple,” Bumpers said. “It’s to honor those who have given so much. We reflect on the meaning of sacrifice, service, and patriotism. Our gratitude extends far beyond words, and our respect for their service should endure all year long.”
