On June 11, 2023, Governor Greg Abbott signed a joint House/Senate resolution during the 88th Texas Legislature - Designating Granbury, TX the official Celebration Capital of Texas; recognizing the wide array of special events, and celebrations, both time-honored and new, that add greatly to the city’s distinctive charm and sense of community both residents and visitors have come to enjoy.
Locals live here because Granbury is alive with events and activities year-round. Visitors come to Granbury to Celebrate everything! ! The Granbury Trolley runs Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays on an hour-long route, starting at the Visitors Center. The complimentary shuttle stops at hotels, bed and breakfasts, and other locations as it loops on the 377 Corridor, back through the Historic Downtown Square. Now, you can also track the Trolley in real time!
