We’ve had a joyful few weeks here at Santa Maria Community Services! From cheering on our Every Child Succeeds grads to enjoying a sunny afternoon at Safety Fest, it’s been all about community, connection, and fun. And there’s even more to come, because our annual fundraiser, Passport to Success, is right around the corner!

Passport to Success is BACK!

Get ready for a feel-good morning at our annual fundraiser, Passport to Success, with this year's theme: Unity!

Join us on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 11 a.m. to

2 p.m. at Western Hills Country Club for a morning of connection and community pride, all in support of Santa Maria and the families of Greater Price Hill.

Enjoy a delicious brunch, a lively raffle and silent auction, and an inspiring program featuring Cincinnati's very own award-winning visionary artist and internationally renowned jazz vocalist, Kathy Wade, as keynote speaker. We're honored to have the wonderful Lauren Minor, local news personality, as our returning emcee.

We’ll also recognize two remarkable changemakers for their contributions to the Price Hill community: Chuck and Mary Hais, for their heartfelt dedication to our mission and lasting impact on local families, and Nehemiah Manufacturing, for their outstanding commitment to creating second chances and strengthening families across Price Hill.

Let’s come together to celebrate the strength of our families and the heart of Price Hill.

Starting the School Year Strong in East Price Hill

Santa Maria Community Services is helping families start the school year strong with our Back-to-School Fest in East Price Hill!

Join us on Saturday, July 26, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at ARCO Cincy for a fun, family-friendly event filled with resources to help students head back to school with confidence.

We’ll be giving away backpacks and school supplies, sharing free food and fresh produce, and offering on-site help with Cincinnati Public Schools registration.

This event is made possible thanks to the generous support of the Charles H. Dater Foundation and the Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky Apartment Association.

A Big Congratulations to Our Tiniest Graduates!

We recently congratulated 40 adorable smiles as they graduated from our Every Child Succeeds (ECS) program! We are so proud of these tiny 3-year-old tots and their incredible parents who worked so hard to give their children a healthy, strong start. We'd also like to thank our amazing ECS team for their dedication to the families we serve, and Stillson Foundation, Fifth Third Bank, N.A., Trustee, for supporting this life-changing program.

Safety First, Fun Always!

Despite the summer heat, families showed up and showed out for our annual Safety Fest in Lower Price Hill last month, and we’re so glad they did! The event was packed with free resources, fun activities, and strong community spirit.

Neighbors connected with local organizations offering support for the whole family. Kids stayed cool with snow cones, games, and activities while parents got helpful information on how to keep their homes and loved ones safe.

We’re so thankful to everyone who braved the heat to be there, from volunteers to vendors to the families who make our community what it is. Your presence made the day truly special!
