Celebrate Veterans Appreciation Week

LCCC's Veterans Events Committee has organized a variety of events to celebrate Veterans Appreciation Week this November! Join us throughout the week as we celebrate our veteran and military-affiliated student population. All events are open for everyone. EVENTS, WORKSHOPS AND ACTIVITIES

Healing Through Art: An Empowering Creative Art Experience

Join the Art Department and special guest graphic designer and LCCC alum Olivia Kling for Healing Through Art, an art therapy workshop offering a safe and supportive space for survivors of sexual violence and their allies. Through creative expression, participants can process emotions, promote healing, and build community. No art experience needed. Supplies provided.


*Students may participate as much as they'd like and leave early if needed.

**Participants will receive an It's On Us t-shirt while supplies last.

Make A Self-Defense Keychain

Join LCCC’s It’s On Us Initiative and the Justice Society for a fun, hands-on event where you can make your own self-defense keychain, hang out with friends, and leave with a practical tool to boost your personal safety!


*While supplies last.


Take the LCCC Consent Pledge to stand against sexual violence and support a safer campus community.


*All materials provided. Participants will also receive a free It’s On Us t-shirt.

Explore Career Paths Through Job Shadowing!

This semester, students can shadow professionals from St. Luke’s University Health Network, the Pennsylvania State Police, Bureau of Liquor Enforcement, the County of Lehigh, and Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network. Spend a day learning about workplace culture, daily operations and the skills needed to succeed in each field of interest.

Food Truck On Campus

Grab a bite between classes! A food truck will be on campus once a week at the LCCC Mall from 11:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

Obstacle Course

Stop by Berrier Hall's Upper Lobby on November 13, anytime between 10 a.m–3 p.m. to take on the obstacle course! Times will be recorded, and the fastest time wins!

Like Basketball? Cheer on the top two teams as they face off in the final 3v3 basketball game of the semester! Don't miss the action, energy and end of the semester fun!

🏃 Turkey Trot 5k

Kick off the holiday season with our 5k Fun Run! Choose to run a 5k or 1.5 mile. The run starts and finishes in Parking Lot L. All abilities are welcome; run or walk at your own pace.

TRANSFER SERVICES

LCCC to DeSales Pathway

A new transfer agreement will guarantee eligible LCCC graduates admission to DeSales. Students with the intent to transfer to DeSales can take one tuition-free course toward their bachelor’s degree during their completion of the LCCC associate degree. Also, students with a grade point average of 2.75 or above will receive a total financial aid package, inclusive of any scholarships, of at least 50% off DeSales tuition. Information about the transfer program can be found on LCCC's transfer webpage. Email adviseme@lccc.edu with questions.


Penn State Commonwealth Campus Agreement

A new articulation agreement has been signed to facilitate the transfer of LCCC students into various degree programs at each of the four Penn State Commonwealth Campuses. For more information about academic or scholarship options, email adviseme@lccc.edu.


Kutztown Transfer Program

LCCC students who earn their associate degree can transfer seamlessly to KU, entering as a junior. Financial benefits of the transfer program include a $500 book award, $1,000 in housing scholarships per year for two years and up to $5,000 in merit scholarships.
