Letter from the Director - Eric Alexander
In the name of our Savior and Lord, we express the warmest of greetings, also we pray the blessings of God would rain heavily down from heaven upon you!!

There is no sweeter name that we know, than the name of Jesus! Ephesians 3:20  Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be the glory, both now and forever!!!

This quarter has been very challenging to say the least. But we are witnessing men making very smart decisions about their spiritual lives. Men are coming into the program and first week asking to be baptized. Genesis 18:14 “Is there anything too hard for God”? Sarah thought it impossible to have a child, since she no longer had a menstruation. But God, is doing something that this whole world wasn’t sure that could happen, “ He’s saving those trapped “ in the innermost parts of the world, the “belly of the beast” (prison). We give all the praise and glory to Jesus Christ our King.

Safe Harbor Little Rock is happy to acknowledge our two newest partners, Kohler & Linen King. Between both of these companies, we have an increase in employment opportunities for our clients by 32, we thank God for giving Safe Harbor of Little Rock provisions for our clients.

On June 22 nd , our 8 th Annual Friends &Family Outing was a huge success, this year the setting was at War Memorial Park Pavilion, Lots of Barbecue, Hamburgers, Baked Beans and Cole Slaw. Plenty of toys for the kids, raffle gift cards and watches. The Staff did a great job working together to make this event a success. Kenny Lane, Director of Operations, was on hand, and fried what seemed like a ton of catfish!!

Our plan for the 3 rd Quarter is to increase our partnership, we are praying for at least 2 new partners to increase our employment portfolio. There is a growing demand for employment in the Central Arkansas area. There has also been an upswing in volunteers from the community to facilitate classes, mentor and sponsorship.

We are also proud to have Passion Unlimited be apart of our counseling, therapeutic team, referred by ACC, they have proved to be a top tier organization.

As always, we are so grateful for all the corporate support, without the Lighthouse Mission Ministries, we wouldn’t be able to excel to the level that we continue to reach for.

Blessing and Honor, to the only true and wise God, We give thanks and praises, now and forever!

Pastor Eric Alexander

Celebration Sunday in Little Rock
We want to congratulate our graduates for the 2nd Quarter, Napoleon Criswell, Anthony Davenport, Tyson Norsworthy & John Edwards. We wish these men the best as they continue on their journey.

Congratulations to all of our award winners as well! We are going from Good to Great!

Here are a few pics from our Celebration Sunday for April, May & June.
Pastor Eric worked the crowd to a frenzy at the point that they did the Wave like a crowd in a stadium. Great Celebration Sunday. Enthusiasm is contagious!
Partner of the Quarter - Kohler
We at Safe Harbor of Little Rock would like to congratulate Kohler as our Partner of the Quarter. It is our honor to work with a company that has been established since the 1800's.

Our clients, who have been hand selected, have not one complaint about their jobs at Kohler. They have been welcomed with open arms and feel a sense of unity on their respective teams.

After only 90 days they will have the opportunity to go full time with Kohler; reaping all the benefits they have to offer. We would like to say thank you to for this new partnership and hope to have many prosperous years.

Some down time in Little Rock calls for some basketball and a good meal to fuel our men back up! Memorial Day 2019
Good times at the Little Rock Zoo. Picture on left is long time resident Carlos Bravos enjoying a bird show. Good to see the guys enjoying themselves.
Had blast serving waffle cones tonight. Caramel, chocolate, whipped cream, nuts, sprinkles, cherries, Blue Bell Ice Cream.
The first crew to start at one of our newest partners, Linen King in Conway. Thank you Lord for the blessings!
The guys are learning to work together as a team. They are making paper airplanes and they have to actually fly the plane across a line. It’s teaching them to be a great team. And they are having fun!
Client Testimony - Ryan Yant
Upon my release from prison, I had never been to a transitional facility before and I had no idea what to expect. With no where to go and no clue what to do, God placed me in Safe Harbor of Little Rock, AR. With no direction in my life I didn't think I would make it 10 days, let alone the almost 90 I have been here.

Safe Harbor has not only gave me many opportunities but has saved my life. They have provided me with employment, taught me money management, responsibility, and most importantly how to let God lead the way. With the help of their great staff, lead by Pastor Eric Alexander, they have helped me get my life back on track and gave me direction to becoming a productive member of society. With their help and the grace of God, I look forward to a brighter future and a past long gone. Thank you to all the staff at Safe Harbor.

Sincerely, Ryan Yant
