Dear Friends, The United Nations established World Ocean’s Day to raise awareness of the major role that oceans play in our survival. Oceans cover 71 percent of the Earth’s surface, providing most of the oxygen we breathe and most of the food needed to feed the planet. We all can play an important role in helping to protect them. You can learn more about protecting our waterways with this video featuring our YES 2 participants and the Maritime Aquarium! Stepping Stones is joining the celebration of all things ocean with exciting explorations  into the deep blue and the marine animals that call the Earth's largest body of water home . The museum will continue its deep dive into ocean life all month long with Fintastic Fridays and other special happenings! This week also marks the fifth and final week of our virtual content partnership with the Norwalk Symphony Orchestra. We are so grateful for the opportunity to explore joys of music with the Symphony, and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
