Celebrate Your Local Norfolk County Farmers At
Pour Richard's Wine & Spirits On Aug. 20
   
FRANKLIN, MASSACHUSETTS - Aug. 8, 2017 - Make plans to join farmers from Norfolk County on Aug. 20, 2017, at Pour Richards Wine & Spirits store located at 14 Grove Street in Franklin, Massachusetts, to learn about farming in an urban area. Wine, beer and local food will be available for sampling.
 
During the event, the public will have the opportunity to meet and talk one-on-one with Massachusetts farmers to hear about their farming experiences while enjoying a rich culinary experience. Wine, beer and spirits will be available for purchase from Pour Richard's Wine & Spirits. Proceeds from this event will go to benefit Norfolk County Farm Bureau's scholarship fund.
 
The following local farmers are tentatively set to be present at the event:
-       Rudy and Sandy Medeiros, retired farmers from Stoughton
-       Nick and Jeannine Hoffmann, raw milk dairy farmers from Franklin
-       Chris and Christy Kantlehner, vegetable farmers from Wrentham
-       Patricia Morse, berry and flower farmer from Franklin
 
Tickets will be available at the door for $10. Must be 21 years old to participate in wine and beer tastings.
 
Currently, the following local farmers are planning to donate produce, cheese and meats for use at this event:
-       Homestead Farms from Rehoboth will be donating pork from their local CSA
-       Cook's Valley Farm from Wrentham will be donating vegetables
-       Foxboro Cheese Company from Foxboro will be donating cheese
-       Fairmount Fruit Farm from Franklin will be donating fruit
-       CraftRoots Brewery from Milford, and Wormtown Brewery from Worcester will be providing tastings of their beer
