Dear Beaver Community,

Spring is here! As the end of another academic year is quickly approaching, coming together as a community is top of mind. The Affinity Group Captains, Multiracial Affinity, and First Gen Club Leaders are reaching out for your help to make this year’s One Beaver Cultural Heritage Festival on Tuesday, April 28, our most vibrant one yet!

The theme of the Second Annual One Beaver Cultural Heritage Festival is Celebrate Your Roots! This celebration honors the many cultural and ethnic backgrounds represented in our school community and highlights the pride we take in who we are as one Beaver community, shaped by our diverse roots and origins.

One Beaver Cultural Heritage Festival

This year, we will have two opportunities to join our celebration, and we are seeking volunteers to participate in one or both parts of the day.

The Pinpoint Heritage Map

As we did last year, the Pinpoint Heritage Map will kick off our community event. On a large world map located on the second floor (near the Upper School Hallway), pins can be placed on the country or region a community member identifies with—whether by heritage, culture, or personal connection. The goal of this mapping is to visually represent the diverse backgrounds of our community and create a safe, welcoming space where everyone’s story matters. Stop by and add a pin!

We hope to see you all on April 28!
