The Town of Oakville is celebrating our youth and their contributions to the community by offering seven days of fun and free events as part of National Youth Week from May 1 to 7.
Throughout the week, youth aged 11-19 will have free access to all drop-in swimming, skating, sport and fitness programs; open houses at all Town of Oakville youth centres; creative activities with the Oakville Public Library; and so much more!
Participants are encouraged to share their photos and experiences during the week by using #OakvilleYouth on social media for a chance to win some great prizes.
During the Lakeshore Road reconstruction, Council approved a parking program to help make your visit to downtown easier. Get your first hour of parking free when you use the Honk mobile app with the promo code DOWNTOWN. You can also park for free on weekends and after six every day during construction.
Organized by the Oakville Community Centre for Peace, Ecology and Human Rights (OCCPEHR) and sponsored by the Town of Oakville, this is the largest and longest running community clean up in Oakville. Join us at any one of the 51 locations and pitch in to help keep Oakville clean, green and litter-free. Students can earn volunteer hours.
