In the Vineyard

Harvest is right around the corner! We are excited to use Harvey the harvester soon! The grapes are ripening and should be ready for harvest by the end of September to early October.

To help with our harvest we have installed a new bird "laser" and a bird call. The laser is a beam of light that goes over the top of the vineyard to deter the birds. The bird call is the sound of a type of predatory bird to keep birds away. The goal is to get away from putting nets on the vines. So far we haven't noticed flocks of birds hanging out on the power lines. Looking forward to a fruitful harvest!
