This #GivingTuesday let's celebrate!
JAM has welcomed thousands of community members and visitors in 2024! We've offered many free and low-cost programs and events this year including media arts classes & camps, artist lectures, Halloween-a-thon, TWIST 'Zine & Comic Fair, Story JAM, scriptwriter's group, poetry readings, our beloved annual film festival, WRIF, and so much more – all while providing on-location coverage of 600+ Upper Valley selectboard and school board meetings, fostering civic engagement in grassroots democracy.
| This #GivingTuesday we invite you to donate any amount - no gift is too small - to our annual fund so that JAM will continue to offer robust community programming in 2025! | |
Local recreation
From Little League to Lego Club, Hartford Parks & Recreation Department has been bringing the community together for 50 years. Enjoy reminiscences from Bill "Downtown" Brown, the first asst. director in 1974, staff Scott Hausler and Tatum Barnes, kids currently participating and many others as they recollect how HP&R has united Hartford's villages and encourages healthy living and creativity.
