Hello Jeffco CTC Coalition,
Welcome to December! Thank you for a year of good work, even as times have been challenging and uncertain. You truly care about Jefferson County. Read below for a list of 2025 accomplishments YOU helped make happen!

From November 1 through December 9, every donation you make is boosted by a $1M+ Incentive Fund, thanks to Colorado Gives Foundation and FirstBank. The more we raise, the bigger our share. Plus, if you set up a new monthly recurring donation, Colorado Gives Foundation will match your first monthly gift up to $100 (and up to $250K total across all organizations)! It’s an exciting way for you to double the impact of your continued support.
How to Get Started:
-
Visit our donation page at https://www.coloradogives.org/story/Jeffcoctc
- Click ‘Donate’ and choose to do a one-time donation or select the option for a monthly donation.
- If you select monthly, your donation will be matched automatically.

Jeffco CTC is offering a FREE Bystander Intervention training, facilitated by Regan Byrd, as well as a debrief session to allow training attendees additional time and space to ask questions, discuss and clarify concepts, practice applying concepts, practice healthy conflict and engagement with fellow participants, and build trust.
The Bystander Intervention Training is for anyone who would like information on how to best employ bystander intervention techniques, especially in conjunction with allyship practice. Bystander intervention is the practice of disrupting harm and providing help to someone in need and overcoming the bystander effect, which often prevents people from disrupting harm when other people are present.
Please register by end the of day on January 15, 2026.

Thank you for all that you do!

Call to Action
| | |
At the 2025 Youth Town Hall, Jefferson County youth said that enthusiastic consent in a healthy relationship:
- Is a clear and eager "yes"
- Is more than verbal
- Goes beyond sex
- Muse be a sober "yes"
- Can be withdrawn
- Must not be coerced
| | Communicate to your teen that consent is necessary and that there are resources available to learn more. Love is Respect is the national resource to disrupt and prevent unhealthy relationships and intimate partner violence by empowering young people through inclusive and equitable education, support, and resources. | | |
