For almost 30 years, the mission of Soul Support has been to provide the experience and validation of our individual essence and the expression of that essence in the world. Through our programs and classes, we share how to recognize your soul’s voice, engender individual and group recognition of our heart-to-heart connection, and inspire each soul to bring their unique presence and gift to the world.
Our Community News invites those in our community to share their stories, gifts and offerings.
In this month’s issue Soul Support’s own cherished Nancy Strachan continues her tireless service and impactful contribution. She shares her mission to give a hand up to those in need in several African countries. Nancy is also offering her gifts of Bracelets and Essences that she has created for our fundraiser for Katia Bertrand, our French translator.
From our French community, valuable and generous Katia needs support to win her freedom from cancer! Katia is preparing for a trip from Quebec to Sarasota, Florida for a unique cancer treatment. Her story is below.
Then, we have the amazing MetaArt of Lee Ann Fortunato-Heltzel, who provides us with a sense-evoking and soul-expanding experience of the ‘all that is’.
Lee Ann has been a consultant on our upcoming film iRemember and is using the Heart of the World Flower Essences that Nancy has commissioned. Her art opens doorways into our soul and brings many dimensions into a more clear focus.
We hope you enjoy this issue! Please be in touch with Aeveia if you’d like to share your passion, purpose and presence!

Work continues in Africa
by Nancy Strachan,
Founder of Rwandan HUGS
January 2023
|
My ministry began in Rwanda in 2007 when I was invited to go there by Immaculee Ilabagiza, genocide survivor & author of Left to Tell.
Since then, I’ve worked tirelessly to partner with African people and agencies who have the servant hearts, high integrity, strong accountability, & leadership skills to train their communities in sustainable development programs. It wasn’t easy as none of my prior professional life prepared me for this when I first committed to Rwanda in 2007, but in a beautiful, magical way all my life skills, resourcefulness, loving connections and deep devotion to restoring Mother Earth has generated life changing miracles in many communities.
| | |
In these past 15 years we have provided more than $1.5 million in funds and in-kind support and loving, deep friendship to Africans. My commitment remains strong to provide the most cost effective, long-term self-improvement opportunities to train individuals and communities in self-sufficiency and green earth initiatives while mitigating climate change. My goal is to provide a hand up, not a hand out.
Rwandan HUGS, a 501 c 3 nonprofit that I had started, closed in late 2018 after eight years of operation. Partners in Rwanda include Prison Fellowship Rwanda (primarily in Mbyo peace and reconciliation village), 2 centers for special needs clients, 2 feeding programs for very impoverished children, a nursery school, clean water initiatives (bio sand water filters and large capacity water catchment tanks), fruit tree planting, goat distributions, two pig farms, several rabbit cooperatives, sewing & shoe making cooperatives as well as extremely vulnerable people in refugee camps, HIV/AIDS coops, Twa (Pygmy villages), children/young adults with Albinism, and areas devastated by floods.

The crown jewel of my work and greatest legacy are permagardens modeled after Terra Firma Permagardens. Google Peter Jensen’s video’s on Terra Firma Permagardens for the science behind this method. Since 2018 my devoted partners in Rwanda have taught Permagardening in 210 communities (averaging 25+ families per training). It has dramatically changed their lives.
I’d planned to step back but Covid changed things. My work continues privately & now involves many new programs in Rwanda, Kenya, and Uganda. Financial gifts and funds generated from the sale of donated goods continue to assist people to achieve a greater measure of self-sufficiency, dignity, improved health/nutrition, as we mitigate climate change.
Kenyan projects assist 2 schools and neighboring communities. A devoted school teacher has led them in clean water initiatives (30 water filters), one 25,000 liter water catchment tank (a 2nd tank is being built), & permagardens grow at one school & homes of all 780 students and many other families in two communities. 45% of their food comes from these permagardens. Malnutrition ends where permagardens are maintained. More food will be generated as their fruit trees mature. Fruit trees are ideally given to all attending our Permagarden trainings to increase long-term food security.
In Uganda we support a fruit tree food forest (goal 5 million fruit trees) and a pastor and his family with various needs.
Recently in Rwanda, a house was built for a widow and her children using funds donated through friends in the Soul Support Community. We also taught that family and their community Permagardening and distributed fruit trees.
Prior to that the family slept in a mud/stick hut with dirt floors infested with vermin. Now they live in a home built with love.

"I want to live...
live without cancer!"
Katia Bertrand

Time is of the Essence! We must act now to help Katia thwart this aggressive cancer. Here is why!
Katia has always been a woman with a big heart, full of vivacity and laughter and committed to making a difference. For over 15 years she has dedicated some of her time to contributing through her volunteer work. She has worked to support dozens of people who are also committed to making a difference in society. She values the gift of self and is involved with young people and the elderly in her circle. Professionally, she sometimes takes on cases from people in need and offers them her work. She calls them her "heartfelt files".
But now, more than two years and three surgeries and multiple treatments later, Katia has been working to eradicate a cancer that first appeared in her breast. However, extremely resistant and aggressive cells have spread in the blood. A genetic test shows that they can multiply rapidly and soon metastasize to organs further away in the body. It is only a matter of time. This same test leads to the conclusion that no other treatment is available in Quebec.
Neither chemotherapy, nor radiotherapy, nor hormone therapy, nor other drugs can help her. However, tomorrow's medicine offers a tremendous opportunity. A technology that is under study in Canada is already being provided at the Florida Integrative Medical Center. After several months of procedures, Katia received the exciting news that she has been selected to receive the valuable treatment.
For the treatment to be effective, it must be administered quickly, before metastasis occurs. Time is of the essence!
However, having been unable to work since her treatments began, her savings have melted away and the little she has left is insufficient for this second chance at life. The costs are high. Between $30,000.00 and $35,000.00 is needed for the treatment alone. And, to reach all the cancer cells in her body, it is already foreseeable that the procedure will have to be repeated a few months later.
Together, with strength in numbers, we can pool our contributions and make miracles happen! Let's give her a chance to make a full recovery by helping her get her treatment, by sharing her story with as many people as possible in whatever way we can, and by having the utmost intention to see her succeed.
Finally, for those of you who are wondering what would happen to the funds raised; if at some point this treatment should no longer be appropriate for Katia, those funds would be used for other appropriate treatments that would have come her way. And, ultimately, if nothing worked, the funds would go to the Cancer Research Society.
With all the gratitude.

Essential Oil Sprays made by Nancy Strachan
Fundraiser for Katia Bertrand
I am guided to offer a second fundraiser for Katia using high vibration essential oils combined with distilled water, and Oneness Water from Flo Aeveia Magdalena/Soul Support Systems.
Six different rare and amazing essential oil sprays are being offered in 1 oz. spray bottles for $15 each.
One is exquisite Verveine from the south of France. I lovingly call it “Magdalene in a bottle”.
The other 5 are made using essential oils from Glenda Green’s website (see below):
These 5 oils from Glenda are some of the ones I own I am guided to share in these sprays:
- Christ Scent –I have loved this and used this precious essential oil for many years to anoint people, at Soul Recognitions, in hospitals with the dying, etc. Glenda shared how Jeshua gave her the formula for this essential oil blend ten years after he merged with her painting of The Lion and the Lamb! There’s nothing like it on earth.
- One Soul
- Love
- Black Rose
- Archangel Raphael
| Note: Due to limited supplies, I will make these by special order/on request. I can ship them with bracelets or bring your orders to The Land Celebration Soul Recognition in early March to save you shipping. | | |
Lee Ann Fortunato-Heltzel |
Born a creative empath, Lee Ann is most comfortable unearthing her next grandest adventure exploring what is possible within the capacities of our human potential and integrating these abilities into practical applications.
Her MetaArt and Ocular Meditation breaks into new evolutionary territory of how we can bypass the thinking mind to expand our consciousness into higher more refined spaces of our own Divinity.
| |
| |
METAART is a new genre of multi-media abstract art pieces that are visual portals directly into higher states of consciousness. Simply put it is art as evolution of the mind, heart, and spirit.
OCULAR MEDITATION, an ancient practice of gazing, combines these MetaArt painting to actively engage with the meditator. By choosing a spot on the painting and relaxing one’s gaze, it easily allows inspirational frequency to enter the retina sending signals to the hypothalamus directly engaging with the pineal gland, or the seat of the soul.
| |
Many pieces include multi-dimensional sound as well. Healers and spiritual seekers alike refer to these powerful pieces as divination tools, healing devices, and healing amplifiers. | |
Meta Insights: Lee Ann perfected a process where she engages with and has a conversation with a person’s higher self, or what she calls the Fully Realized Divine Self. These transmissions are multi-dimensional in nature and always profound.
Creativity Camp: Immersive MetaProcess: For those who want to step into this liminal space that Lee Ann engages (coming face-to-face with your highest self) she offers 2–3-day retreats
where magic is sure to flow with her Signature Immersive MetaProcess which includes painting your own portal painting!

Lee Ann resides in Pittsburgh, PA and is actively looking for speaking engagements, collaborations, retail, and gallery space locations to bring MetaArt and Ocular Meditation to a larger audience.
