Loaves and Fishes Ministry Welcomes Volunteers
If you would like to support St. Francis members who have been hospitalized or are ill and who would welcome a meal or two while they recuperate, please join the team! In addition, Loaves and Fishes maintains a large shelf in the freezer with entrees, side dishes and simple baked goods. Paula+ sometimes takes a small bag of cookies with her on pastoral visits.
If you have questions or want to join the Loaves and Fishes team, please email June Malone or call (310)316-5186  Thank you!
In Case You Missed it!
We have a new Youth Director.
Paula+ is delighted to announce that she has hired Laurel Coote, who has been a seminarian at St Cross, and will be Ordained a Transitional Deacon on June 2. Laurel has worked with teens in youth ministry, has taken them on mission trips and pilgrimages and is really looking forward to being a part of our parish family.  St Francis helped to sponsor Laurel during her training - see Bellringer February 2018 . Look out for full details in our June Bellringer!
Other News, and Coming Up!
How You Can Be a Part of The Antique Showl!
First of all, of course, come along and enjoy all the show has to offer! Below are other things we would be most grateful for:

Harvest Cupboard sells baked goods, preserves and other goodies made by " you " the parish family. Any favorite of your family will become a favorite of our guests. This is always one of the most popular spots in the entire show! Donations will be gratefully received from Tuesday May 29 on the patio level after 9:00 am. Also, if you have extra shopping bags we can use them! We package items, but please label with the name of the item and any ingredients that may be a problem —nuts, wheat etc. Thank you

Parking Please help us to free up much needed parking spaces during opening night and the show days by you our great volunteers and workers parking off site. Please park around on Paseo de la Playa or on Camino de Encanto to avoid having to cross Palos Verdes Blvd. Thank you!

The staffing committee of the Antiques show wants to thank everyone who has said "yes" to a position. We are still in need of several volunteers to clean up in the kitchen from about 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday of the show. Call or speak to Elaine (375-4617) or Anna (310 297-0701). Thank you!
