MEN'S ACTS RETREAT

RETREAT CENTER
The retreat is for men 18 and older who have never attended an ACTS retreat. The retreat begins on Thursday, August 22 at 6:00 pm at Prince of Peace and concludes Sunday, August 25 after 12:30 pm Mass.

Retreatants are bused to the facility and spend a weekend participating in activities conducted by a team of ACTS men working with the Holy Spirit to build a stronger bond with our Lord Jesus Christ through Christian brotherhood, prayer, and the Sacraments. To many, the retreat is life-changing.

JOIN THE CHOIR
Traditional Choir
The 10:45 am Traditional Choir is in need of additional voices in all sections. You don't need to read music, just a desire to sing God's praises. We practice every Wednesday night from 7:30 to 9:30 pm in the music room in the Community Center. Our first rehearsal of the season is August 28. Children's Choir
Children seven years old and up are invited to join the POP Children's Choir. No audition or experience required. The Children's Choir sings at the 9:00 am Mass on the 2nd Sunday of every month September-May. Special services include Christmas Eve and Easter Masses. Rehearsals are on Sundays from 2:30-4:00 pm. The first rehearsal will be August 25 in the Music Room. Registration will occur at the first rehearsal. For details, contact Anna Schermerhorn at childrenschoir@pophouston.org.
