Happy Golden Anniversary Rancho Mirage!

Half a century ago, on this very day, the City of Rancho Mirage was officially incorporated.

The past five decades have been filled with remarkable achievements and significant milestones that have shaped the city's proud history, leading to this momentous occasion ~ celebrating 50 years of excellence!

To honor this golden anniversary, the City is preparing an exciting calendar packed with 50th anniversary themed signature events and celebrations, all to commemorate our city's journey and reflect on the nostalgic moments that have defined it.

Join us as we look back on our rich history and celebrate the growth and success that Rancho Mirage has achieved over past fifty years.

50th Anniversary Branding

As you travel our picturesque city streets, notice the vibrant street banners and 50th anniversary branding adorning City Hall and the Library.

Celebrations & Events

The Rancho Mirage Community Park and Amphitheater will host several 50th anniversary themed events like the City's signature event, the annual Festival of the Arts, Coachella Valley Symphony performances, and Desert Theatricals 2023/2024 Broadway shows.

A Veterans celebration will take place around Veterans Day to honor those who served our country and have chosen Rancho Mirage as their home and a special holiday show in December.

Collaborations & Partnerships

Coming this fall, the unveiling of collaborations with some of Rancho Mirage’s locally owned, iconic products available for purchase and served at City events.

Babe's Bar-B-Que & Brewery has crafted a custom "golden" ale brewed especially for the City's 50th anniversary. This specialty brew will be available soon for purchase and will be served at city signature events.

Brandini Toffee will be selling custom tins donning the City's 50th anniversary logo.

Koffi has curated a specialty 50th anniversary blend that will be available soon for purchase and will be served at city signature events.

This year's State of the City, produced in partnership with the Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce, will be 50th anniversary themed as well.

A 50th anniversary commemorative book produced in partnership with Palm Springs Life will debut at the 2024 Rancho Mirage Writers Festival and will be mailed to all Rancho Mirage residents.

50th Anniversary Website

Last but certainly not least, the City will launch a 50th anniversary website. This website will be a special curation of information, featuring a timeline showcasing the City's illustrious history, an engaging video series, a comprehensive schedule of celebratory events, and a delightful collection of classic photos retrieved from the City's archives.
