The Countdown Begins!

There are less than 48 hours until our fifth annual Spring Fling Festival of Colors! Come celebrate spring with music, dancing, and tossing color powders to spread good luck. Those who want to participate in the powder toss are encouraged to wear white. There will be designated color-free zones for those who do not wish to participate. The event is celebrated in partnership with the Mayor’s Wellness Campaign to promote community health, mental wellness, and social connection as part of a broader, award-winning initiative to foster a healthier, more active community.

The free event is sponsored by the SKN Foundation and the Healthy Mind Healthy Body Initiative. Cash donations will be accepted to support Montgomery EMS and Fire Companies 1 and 2. For more information, contact the Montgomery Department of Recreation at (609) 466-3023.

Learn More About Montgomery

A free community workshop, led by Angelina Busch, is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15 at the Montgomery Township Library. The workshop invites new and veteran residents to learn more about our township.

The program was created by Angelina Busch of Girl Scout Troop 60525 as part of her Gold Award Girl Scout Project. Attendees will receive information on emergency contacts, setting up utilities, transportation, and more!

Sponsor the Show!

The Recreation and Monty Rev250 Volunteer Committees are looking for donations for the 2026 Montgomery Fireworks and 250th celebrations. There are a range of sponsorship opportunities for businesses, families, and community groups. Those who donate at the top sponsorship levels will receive permanent recognition through engraved plaques installed on benches in Montgomery Veterans Park.

Donations will support the fireworks display in addition to the showcase, revolutionary reenactors, a public mural project, an ecological garden, and permanent recognition installations. More information for corporate sponsors can be found here. More information for individual donors can be found here.

The Township Committee will hold the Public Hearing and Adoption of the 2026 Municipal Budget during tonight’s committee meeting. We encourage all residents to review the budget presentation. Residents are welcome to email CFO Michael Pitts at mpitts@montgomerynj.gov with any questions.

The secure Vote-By-Mail Ballot Drop-Box located outside the Montgomery Municipal Center is now open for the 2026 Primary Election scheduled for June 2. Early voting runs from May 26 through May 31. Find more voter information here.
