Giving is a Tradition Worth Sharing

During the holiday season, we are reminded of the traditions that bring us together and provide moments of joy and gratitude. This #GivingTuesday, join Greater Lansing Food Bank (GLFB) in celebrating the tradition of giving.

For decades, our region’s tradition of generosity has helped fill neighbor’s empty plates and offered nourishment for today, while fueling hope for tomorrow.

Right now, GLFB is seeing a 35 percent increase in the number of households receiving food assistance from our pantries and programs.

Your support of GLFB will help us ensure each household receives the nutritious food they need this holiday season, that no child will go to bed hungry, and no senior will skip a meal to afford their medication.

There are countless ways to be part of the tradition of giving. Whether it’s volunteering your time, hosting a food drive or making a financial contribution, your generosity echoes the true spirit of the season and embodies the essence of community support.

We believe that is a tradition worth sharing.

Donate today on #GivingTuesday and make a difference for neighbors experiencing hunger in mid-Michigan.

Please Note: As we consistently look to improve our processes at GLFB, we are transitioning to an e-acknowledgment model for donations in 2024. Moving forward individual gift acknowledgments will be emailed immediately upon processing and prior-year donation statements will be mailed in the spring of each year.
