Winter Solstice Sound Meditation
Celebration of Winter through
Sound and Stillness
December 21, 2023 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM
In winter everything lies dormant in the silent earth. It is a sacred time of rest and reflection before the awakening and the slow build toward brighter days. As we consciously link our awareness to nature's cycles, our understanding of our personal growth cycles begins to deepen.
During this celebration, you can sit in a chair (provided) or bring a yoga mat, blanket, and pillow. Participants will be asked to power off all phones and will experience a sound meditation using gongs, metal, and crystal bowls. This celebration will be led by Colleen and Sean Alexander.
Join us afterward for a short gathering with snacks and drinks. Please bring a beverage and snack to share if you would like to participate.
Pre-registration requested. Purchase your tickets here.
Location: East Haddam Historical Society & Museum, 264 Town Street.
Event fee: $25.00
